Help chose a name for baby

I'm torn between two names!

Claudia and Maeva.

I love Maeva but don't want her to be called may or maeve

And something about Claudia is putting me off and I don't know why? Maybe sounds a bit harsh?

This probably won't help me but I'm at a loss of what to do and I know it my choice at the end of the day but I'm just overwhelmed by it all and with everything I've had to do this is just tipping me over at this point.

had a friend in primary school called Claudia - I like it.

Maeva for me but they will likely be referred to as Mae.

Would you be open to more suggestions or is it literally down to these two?

Toss a coin - if you’re disappointed with the ‘answer’ you know you should pick the other name…

If you’re still disappointed - you need a third name choice…

For what it’s worth, I think they are both lovely names. (And both names will probably get shorted one way or another - as would any other name you choose…)
