10th anniversary holiday

Hi everyone

next year is our 10th wedding anniversary. We didn’t get to properly celebrate our 5th anniversary as it was during lockdown so our plans were cancelled, so we want to celebrate properly. Our first choice was a holiday in Oman but that seems unlikely given events on the region so that leaves us with 2 options;

1. luxury holiday in the Maldives in the winter
2. European holiday in September and weekend away on actual anniversary. This option is about 5k cheaper.

what would you do?

Have a look at Serenity at Coconut Bay in St Lucia.

@RomeoRivers I don’t think it’s the right time of year for the Caribbean but I will check

I'd go for option 2 but I don't see the attraction of the Maldives unless you're into scuba diving.

It's just personal preference though. Go with whatever you'd enjoy most.
