Recommendations for diffuser oils?

Does anyone have any recommendations for nice diffuser oils? I don’t trust the random crap the Amazon website throws up. I’ve tried some Tisserand ones as well as some Muji ones and they’ve been ok. Even though I don’t like spas, I would like bits of my house to smell like an upmarket spa 😂

We get ours from our local garden centre. Not cheap but they last a long time. The one in my living room has been smelling lovely for months now!

This is the brand I buy.

The Habitat ones are good, they sell them in bigger Sainsbury's

Scentsy oils are very good - lovely scents and they last for ages 😊

Mittens67 · 05/10/2024 08:56

Hampshire Candles ones are excellent and they have some really lovely unusual scents.
My favourite is Bakewell Tart.
Small niche company but you can buy via Amazon as well as their own website.

I bought a set of random Amazon ones and they've been great. Had a google for some suggestions of essential oil "recipes" and I'm very happy with my choice.

They don't sell the set I bought anymore but I paid £21 for 18 5ml bottles in 2021

I buy essential oils, mostly from Nikura on Amazon. Then I make my own blends. Google for particular types of feel/aromatherapy blends. One Essential Communuty online have some fab ones.

lololulu · 05/10/2024 09:42

I get mine from Aldi.

Women's Balance from Neals Yard makes it smell spa-like to me!

Turnitoffnonagain · 05/10/2024 10:09

I also buy Nikura on Amazon. But I put mine on some bicarb in a small jar rather than a diffuser for downstairs. . I use eucalyptus oil in my diffuser in the bedroom when snuffly.

The white company ones are nice.

Some of the Next ones are too (go in and smell them, as some aren’t!). I like the Amber and something one-patchouli, maybe?

If you want spa - white company do a whole set of spa ones

FGSWhatNow · 05/10/2024 10:26

I like the Apothecary range from M&S, I've got a few of their oils.

I've just googled and it sounds lovely. I'm tempted, but wondering about the impact on DH and the DSs (memories of Chandler Bing and the quit smoking hypnotherapy tape: "you are a strooooong woooooomaaaaan" Grin )

shockeditellyou · 05/10/2024 20:56

Oh these are fab, thanks! I’d forgotten about theM&S stuff - I have some of their shower gels which are nice.

Another vote for the White Company - currently have Lime and Bay in my hallway and it’s beautiful .
Also Neom , particularly the scent to sleep range .

ImDuranDuran · 05/10/2024 21:16

Neom are my favourite but can be pricey...Oliver Bonas oils are just as good IMO and around the £6-7 mark.

toastofthetown · 05/10/2024 21:21

I'm obsessed with The White Company Samphire and Sea at the moment.

Pootles34 · 05/10/2024 21:23

I like white company fireside, but you just have to go in and sniff them all really!

speakamore · 05/10/2024 22:49

The White Company do some amazing ones - my favourite of all time is Seychelles. It's a 5 star holiday in a smell

Winter is very nice for Christmasy feel. And their Spa ones are lovely

PotatoBreadForTheWin · 07/10/2024 12:09

I bought this in muji yesterday and now my house actually smells like a spa!
