Sometimes we forget the small wins with the grind of daily life. I am in a positive mood, the best thing to happen to me was being accepted by an NHS dentist along with my 20 and 22 year old kids😀So,so happy.

After a week long trip to hospital after a bad illness in July, realising with perfect clarity that I want more children. I have been flip flopping for the past 6 years wether to have one more as I have one lovely dd already, but the crystal clear feeling that I want to do it again is so refreshing and uplifting. Hope that makes sense but it's really taken a weight of my shoulders/taken me out of a weird motherhood should I/shouldn't I limbo and now just really looking forward to doing it all again! I'm so excited for our little family life

Same here -handed in notice in August to leave teaching forever in December. Love being in the classroom and will massively miss the fun and laughter I get from the pupils. but rubbish management and unreasonable entitled parents (secondary) make the job too tedious now.
Really looking to holidaying in sunshine the whole of ghastly January and February instead of never seeing daylight in those months.

Pleased for you @63isMe, it’s a great feeling isn’t it? I’m a nurse and I think the pressures are similar from different sources! I’m a manager currently so it all falls on me but not for much longer! It’s very freeing.

Good luck for your new beginning💐

Finally leaving a job I was totally miserable in for a job that I still get excited about every day 🙂

Three major good things this year:

  1. DS settling into uni and having the time of his life - he lost his dad last year l, So I'm so pleased he's really enjoying himself now and doing well.
  2. Hitting the 5-year-cancer-free milestone
  3. Discovering and starting mounjaro and losing 52lbs (so far)

Amazing both you and your son.💐
