Bought half price frozen tuna steaks but not sure what to do with them.

I season them well and pan fry. I think they are best when a bit rare in the the middle but I seldom achieve this. Usually serve with a cold pasta or rice salad.

We make a crust of black pepper and black sesame seeds, dip the edges of steaks in that, and barely sear them. Make sure they are room temperature when you cook them

Defrost them but not quite fully, then marinade in fish sauce/soy sauce, lemon, pinch of sugar, pinch of chilli. Dry them off a bit, Then sear them for about 30 seconds on each side in a really hot pan.
Slice and serve with the juices and some boiled rice and greens.

Oooh I love cooking them with garlic and olive oil and a splash of white wine. Serve them with peppers/aubergine/toms/onions roasted with garlic and chilli and some linguine 👌🏼
