I don't know what to do tomorrow

I was working last weekend and that was after working Monday to Friday and then worked this week. So it's been two weeks solid.

Tomorrow is my first day off in ages.

I don't know what I want to do. Deciding between:

  • staying at home and getting some chores done
  • going into the city and maybe even taking my knitting and sitting down in a pub with my knitting
  • travel to a rural scenic town for lunch and also take me knitting
  • travel to the capital and start on some Christmas shopping (I am very tempted to do this. I think I am leaning in towards this but I don't know).

If I were you as you really want to go (assume) London go for it, retail therapy and all that. If not I'd go gor option 3. Definitely not option 1.

Enjoy your weekend and relax!

I would do any or all except option 1! Although a scenic town sounds best IMO

KeyKnowledge · 04/10/2024 20:32

All good tbh, 3 or 4 would be my preference.

Crazykefir · 04/10/2024 20:34

I'd choose option 3.

Stay home and relax, watch a box set.

Chateauneufdu · 04/10/2024 20:36

Obviously not the last one as it's October. Maybe first one, who knows?

Come to London. Shop then go to the pub with knitting.

I popped into town today and knitted on tube and train 😆🤓

Pub with knitting!!

When I have shifts like that I do the bare minimum about the house - maybe the bathroom and bed change , then I slob out, sofa, box set, book, crochet, mumsnet

I do take a good walk though , need to get some fresh air and stretch out so my knees so seize up :)

If I lived in a town/city then I would go find me a good country walk, somewhere I could park, get a good circular walk, and a good meal come the end, with or without knitting, but home in time to pull the curtains, run a bath and pour a wine and settle up with the knitting
