Weighted blanket what weight?

My child will be 11
She wants a weighted blanket
For when she needs to calm down. She used one before in a sensory room?
What weight should we get? I don't really know.
Is 2kg ok?

The usual advice, I think, is no more than 10% of their body weight. That said, I’m an adult and I found 10% too much but am very happy with 5%. For safety among other things I’d start lighter. That said I have no experience of using them with children so I’m sure someone will come along and give better advice
