Morning lovely lot,

I know nobody can tell me. Just looking for a bit of advice or an opinion on what is currently happening.

Back story: DD conceived via IVF / ICSI due to husbands sperm swimming in different directions. My health back story - dx with cancer 5 years ago, thankfully my reproductive system was spared.

DD is 3, nearly 4

I have on the clock 30 day cycles. Never a day later, and always 5 days in length.
I started spotting on Monday, 10 days before period was due. Took a test the next day, looked at it straight away and couldn't see anything. Went back in the bathroom 15 minutes later and had a good very blue line. Tested with clear blue normal tests as they're all I had. Did a test the next day, same brand, the exact same thing happened. Both lines have blue dye in them.

Took a test this morning, a line came up straight away - but then it totally disappeared! It was faint, but there.

I am still bleeding now. It's not heavy enough for a full period but enough to wear a panty liner.

Took a boots own brand test just now, stark negative. I know it is very very early for a positive test, but to have 2 not even squinter positives I am left very confused. I haven't had any illness or vaccinations.

Half of me things I've just had a bad batch of clear blues and my period has come early, the other half of me thinks perhaps I am pregnant but very early, and I'm having implantation bleeding, and the other bit of me things this is a chemical pregnancy.

I bled like this until 9 weeks with DD as I am on blood thinners due to a heart condition.

What's everyone's thoughts? I'm 30 years old.

Thank you!

That looks like an evap line rather than a positive line (sorry). I’ve had both on those tests and my positive line was as thick as the horizontal line.

Peonies12 · 04/10/2024 12:02

.looks like Evap to me, I’d wait a few days and try again with a cheap test, I never used CB.

3 blue lines on CB test and all looking like evaps. I'll never use those again 😔

Sorry hun, the blue dye tests always have massive evaps in my experience. When it's been positive for me it's the same thickness as the control line xx

Could you get one of the Clearblue digital ones that very clearly says "pregnant" or "not pregnant"? Maybe wait a few more days too?

Good luck!

I'm going to wait a while as my period is still 6 days away.

Unless what I'm bleeding now is my period but a very light and brown one!

So confused :(

I’d possibly be a little concerned by the bleeding if it doesn’t resolve.

DniHnly · 05/10/2024 08:11

I'm having a lot of pain on my right side with hot flushes and I've got a slight temp, so I'm going to get checked out today.

Bleeding is very stop start, very different to a period. Much lighter. Such an emotional rollercoaster.

I've actually been naturally pregnant 3 times and each time it's ended in MC so I will stick to the frozen embryos in future as I think I they have a better standing chance. Have a good day everyone

Good luck. I hope you are ok and aren’t struggling too much with all of this (I can imagine the hope, fear and terror you must be feeling).

That certainly looks positive to me. I would use a First Response. They are the only tests I trusted really when I was TTC mine and the results were never wrong.
