Driving commute- podcasts?

Hello all.

I'm about to start a new job with a 40 min commute each way, I don't love driving so I'm a bit wary about it. But the job is fantastic so worth it.

Thinking I should get into podcasts to make the journey better. Can you concentrate on driving (it's all windy back roads, which is worse for me) while listening?

Any recommendations for anything gripping would be great.

Thank you!

I always hear of The Archers. Is it something you could pick up, @BrightLightTonight having not listened from the start, I wonder?

It might take a while to get used to the characters, but otherwise yes. It started in the 1950s so there’s probably not that many listeners now who have been following from the start!

Honestly I just stick to audiobooks! I love the feeling of adding to my reading challenge. If you already get Audible and run out of credits there are some really good reads (and podcasts actually, like the French and Saunders ones) you can get for free in the Plus catalogue. I won't give you my reccs as they're mostly scifi!
