We are from overseas. My DD is looking forward to join sixth form from September 2025 .We are looking for full boarding option for her.So far she has applied in the following schools.

Wycombe abbey
Downe house
Cheltenham ladies college
st Mary’s Calne
Headington Rye Oxford

Can anyone please advise which one fulfils her full boarding requirement .Also, she is more inclined towards science subjects

Thanks

Have you been able to visit any of the schools? So much depends on the vibe, or atmosphere, you discern when you’re actually there, regardless of league tables, cost or prospectus.

We managed to visit CLC last year but not the others.

Hello, our daughter is a couple of years in at Wycombe Abbey. It is a full boarding school. Academic, Cultural, Sporting and Social provision are all outstanding. If your daughter is bright and happy to work hard I cannot recommend it enough. The current Head is superb.

Full Boarding often has a lot of wriggle room-

I would def be making sure everyone does stay at the weekend.

Friends DD was at Downe House and was allowed home a lot!
