Dd lives in a 3rd floor flat. Someone was banging on her door hard. She looked out and it looked like the man had a lanyard. So she opened the door. The person Said they were there to do repair. Dd asked what repairs and who are you. He would not say and was being odd so dd went to shut the door. And he was trying to force himself in. Dd managed to get the door shut . And put the chain on the door.
Dd called to say police are at hers now. The flat is flagged because she's at risk from her ex.
I have heard that people do pretend to be repair people in order to break in
But why dds door. Why 3 floors up . Hopefully it is just that and not personal to dd. Not that trying to con a way in is ok.
