Gah sciatica killing me

I'm taking amytryptaline and it isn't doing anything, still waking up in agony! It's switching sides now aswell, is this normal with sciatica ??

Hi, no still got it, it isn’t as bad at the moment but I do get pain everytime I bend over

Before I had my surgery, I found it very helpful to have acupuncture, and I couldn’t have survived without my tens machine. I think it’s more unusual to have the pain in both sides but I suppose that depends on exactly which bit of the sciatic nerve is being compressed.
