I'm really interested in buying one, like the looks, the price tag, the fact it's electric... anyone got one?

Yes, I have a MG4 64 KWh Trophy.
It's nearly a year old and I have had it since new.

Have done 12,500 miles in that time.

What do you want to know?

I'm in a very similar position to @jennytheonionslayer, ask away!

Yes we have one, we’ve had lots of EV’s. What do you want to know?

Ours is 2 years old, it’s good value. Build
quality reflects the price. It drives nicely apart from bastard software update with the over reactive lane assist thingy.

The plastics are a bit shonky and the appleplay in ours is temperamental. But otherwise it’s good.

It’s not my favourite car ever but we are paying £172pm for it so can’t grumble.

Have you bought a wireless CarPlay adapter, it works very well.

I have had my infotainment software updated to R59 and the climate controls are better and there is a swipe down to turn off LKA.

I tested one of these, banged my leg on the door plate every time I got in and out of it. Couldn't get it for this reason. Got a leaf instead, lovely car, much comfier but the mileage is no where near as good.

I have an older Leaf for the local stuff, it's a great car however the lack of a CCS charger on a Leaf would really put me off.

Chademo is out there but the few times I have needed one they are either in use or broken.

I have no confidence driving an EV with Chademo outside of the being able to get back on the home charge area!

With CCS, there is always a charger, I drove the MG4 155 miles today in terrible weather with heating and AC on on motorways and still had 35% left.

I popped it on a type two 7 kilowatt and it's already back to 80% for the return journey tomorrow!

Yes I have. Love it!

We're thinking of buying one. A trophy model, I think it looks great!

Do you all have home chargers? Going to test drive one at the weekend.

It's a brilliant car!

Just turn of emergency braking to alert and switch off LKA and you will be fine.

A home charger is an absolute must, you will be able to take advantage of an EV Tariff like Octopus intelligent where you get cut price charging.

The Trophy is the one to get as you get seated heats, heated steering wheel, phone charging mat, 360 cameras and the rear spoiler amongst other stuff.

That summarises our view perfectly!

The only other thing is my tall husband finds the console thing digs into his knee.
