Fertility ovulation help

i am looking for some advice please

i came on the 6-10th September and on the 16th and 17th I showed peak fertility on the clear blue digital ovulation test. On the pre mom strip ones it showed low, the on the 23rd to 24th September I again showed peak fertility on clear blue and pre mom strip. But then I am due on literally a week after my ‘peak fertility ends’ and because of PCOS I get period symptoms literally from when the peak ends. So if I was to fall pregnant would I still come on as it’s only a week since ovulation?

also can it show peak fertility twice in a month or is this wrong?

thanks

An important Q:

Do you have regular cycle lengths? How long?

If you have a regular cycle, this is great news as you are in all likelihood ovulating regularly. If you have a regular cycle, day 1 is the first day of your period and most people ovulate between day 10 and day 16. That means your dates make sense:

Day 1- 6th
Day 10/11 - 16th/17th - just before ovulation, therefore the best days to have sex in order to conceive.
Day 17/18 - 23/24th - when premium said body was trying to ovulate
Day 34/35 - 30/31st end of cycle, when you think period should be due?

Normal luteal cycle length (from ovulation to period start) is 10-16 data, 12-14 optimum.

All LH ("ovulation tests positive") shows is that your body is thinking about ovulating, not that it actually has. This can therefore peak more than once. In PCOS, your hormones do not follow the usual patterns. This means LH tests ("ovulation tests") are not always going to be correct for you.

My advice to you is to do a few cycles temping, this shows you if you are ovulating and when.

And if you have a normal cycle length, the best advice for TTC is to just have sex every couple of days from when your period ends onwards. Then you'll hit optimum days regardless

Yes my periods are regular. I was up to 42 day cycle but it has now evened out to 4 weeks for the past few months. I think that’s great advice as I’m losing my mind keep checking the app etc testing and i think the stress and worry etc isn’t helping.

can I please ask what cycle temping is?

thank you so much

Okay yeah definitely, if you are on a 28 day cycle you are almost definitely ovulating regularly and the best bet would be to bin the tests and just have sex every 2-3 days! Temping is an option but is stressful AF ( see here for details : https://www.whattoexpect.com/getting-pregnant/ovulation/bbt-chart-basal-body-temperature-ovulation/. I used the free app Fertility Friend to track this)

I know that relaxing is easier said than done (3 years trying to conceive our wee one, but unlike you I have distinct issues in fertility)
