Does anybody know if an unmarried heterosexual couple need to show proof of their PR documents to the registrar when registering babies birth after an overseas IVF procedure thank you

I can’t imagine you would. Never at any point in the birth registry process was I ever asked if my child was naturally conceived. They aren’t interested in biological parentage really, just who is agreeing they are the child’s parents for legal reasons.

my daughter had been told her partner should not be on the birth certificate as the procedure was overseas baby born in the UK

Thank you but my daughter has been told if the procedure took place overseas her partner should not be on the birth certificate and they should have applied for him to adopt baby through the court. This is according ti the UK zhumsn embryo act
