Hi,
I had a PM bleed about 18 months ago. Had a hysteroscopy and Mirena fitted, also a polyp removed. All was well until now and I have now got another small bleed. Nothing heavy, will I have to go through it all again and anyone been through the same ? So stressed and worried sick again.
thanks
emma

Hi Emma,

You don't have to go through it again but you should get a referral - and it will be on the 2ww pathway. You may just have another benign polyp.

Don't forget you can ask for it under GA if you don't want an outpatient hysteroscopy. Equally they may scan you, see a thin endometrium and decide not to proceed to hysteroscopy at all

Please see your GP and get referred

thank you. Yes I’ve got a call with my GP who will no doubt refer me on 2 wee pathway. It’s just so stressful.

Just bumping this for you for anyone else to add their wisdom.

I know it's stressful and the procedures are horrible but it's better to know if there is a serious problem
