Question about ultrasounds

I'm having an ultrasound tomorrow. It's not for pregnancy but due to pelvic pain I've been having. They want me to come with a full bladder.

Do I need to drink clear liquids or can I drink anything? Does drinking tea or coffee or something that's not clear obscure the view?

Thanks!

You can drink anything as long as you aren’t having an upper respiratory infection abdominal scan. The gallbladder may contract if you have anything fatty such as milk and they will not be able to assess it. If just for pelvis should be fine to have anything

If it’s just a tranvaginal/pelvic scan, it’s full bladder drink anything you want, people tend to overfill and end up in pain so just drink a pint an hour before and then don’t go for a wee.
as above if it’s abdomen aswell no food and no milk in your tea etc

I don’t know where respiratory infection came from. That was my phone adding words!
