Overweight son

My 54 year old son has become very overweight. Can I talk to him about it?

Does your 54yr old son live you?
Do you have a good relationship with them?
Would they want to discuss their body and health issues with you?

Do you think they have MH issues that might be causing the increase of weight? Are they eating because they are stressed/bored/have a illness/ not able to eat their usual diet, perhaps relying on ready made/takeaways/ had to drop exercise

I think its tricky ground trying to talk to someone close to you about weight. They will be aware they are putting weight

Your 54 year old son will know he's overweight. And will be aware of the associated risks.
What do you hope to gain by talking to him?

He's 54. He will know he's put on weight. Let him deal with it or not. His choice.
