Itching gel nails

I’m just wondering can you have a delayed reaction to gel nails? I’ve got Biab on and have had the on in succession 3 times, anyway I’m itching all over now for 4 days and wondered if it’s connected to the nails???

I've had gel nails for years up until recently when I had a random reaction to them. From what I've read it's quite common.

I've now accepted that I'll be using good old nail varnish from now on! The reaction was not at all pleasant and even made my nails come away from the nail bed

Is it the gel or could it be the cuticle oil? I feel itchy after some oils but not others. It's worth considering that might be the cause.

I'd had BIAB on a while and my eyes all swelled up and I looked horrific! Not had a reaction since I got them off so I presume it was that. I'd get your BIAB off and see if the itching calms down and then you'll know.

I’m going to get them taken off first thing today. I’m really hoping it’s them otherwise I do not know why I’m itching! Throat is irritated also!
I have been thinking that I’ve got some kind of illness, it only occurred to me that it could be the nails yesterday. I’ve had them on for months consecutively but no problems then it started up on Thursday night.
