My DM needs a clock, digital.
It can't have batteries and it can't have a wire. But it can be rechargeable, like with a usb.
I can't find any.
She can't have wires or batteries but can give it to someone to recharge and give back to her if that makes sense.

I've been looking for twenty minutes, does this thing exist?

Could you repurpose an old phone, with the clock as the screen saver?

This must be one of the most easily available things out there,,,

H0TBUZZIN · 01/10/2024 19:37

Perhaps I wasn't clear. There can be no wires in her room. So it can't be plugged in at all

They seem to need to have the usb wire plugged in

Children yoto player can do this but they need to be plugged in at some point to charge them.

H0TBUZZIN · 01/10/2024 20:22

Yes it's okay to charge each day but needs it at night without a wire

Plugged in to charge! On some it says that the time won't continuously display when not plugged into a power outlet, but it comes on when you press a button.

Can't help with the clock but am I sensing that you, OP, are suppressing the need to say 'god give me strength' when dealing with this one? If so, I feel you!

I'm doubting my clarity

solar powered? There's some on Amazon but i'd read the reviews carefully!

Nourishinghandcream · 02/10/2024 09:00

How about a windup alarm clock?

She said it needs to be digital, presumably her Mum isn't able to read a non digital clock or needs one she doesn't have to turn a light ( not mains/not battery) light on to read.

@H0TBUZZIN would a digital watch work for her?

YorkieTheRabbit · 02/10/2024 09:26

The one I’ve linked says the battery life is two to three weeks if it’s in permanent display mode so it wouldn’t need daily recharging.

How about this?

I think you forgot the link?
