My teen DCs despair of my dedication to 70s/80s music! 😆

Not so much particular songs, but looking back to bands like Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, and similar, I’m often struck by how varied their catalogue is. Today’s artists seem to have much more of a signature sound.

Don't forget, there were also songs with whistles (not human whistling like Jealous Guy, but blasting a playground whistle, can't think of examples right now). Also drippy songs with even drippier talky bits, like "Never Been To Me." I'm glad they don't make them like that any more!
