Buttered cream crackers with Bolognese..

Cause I made a Bolognese today and didn't want to go out in the rain to get spaghetti. I buttered some cream crackers with Willow and it was very very nice.

So.. there we go.

I mean, it's not a 'thing' but if you like it then why not?

Spag bol on cream crackers is totally delicious. I've never added butter.
Now I want to eat spag bol on cream crackers!
Nutritionally I expect cream crackers and white spaghetti aren't that different?

I think bolognese is delicious with a lot of things, I'd eat it with a jacket potato or some crusty bread and cheese.

I used to love having lasagna on toast. It's that lovely contrast between the soft and the crunch.
Got me craving now.

We quote often have an ifits tea. Gets things used up out the freezer and cupboards.

It's good if you put it in a tortilla with cheese and then in a hot pan

Totally acceptable, as I need crunch with every meal. However as I'm an old hat at doing this, my go to would have been a half baked baguette what I always have 'just in case' in the freezer. Awesome combination!

I've had bolognaise with jacket before and also with thick sliced tiger bread and farrrr to much butter and cheese 😂

The joy of bolognaise is it’s flexibility. Aldi does a part baked sourdough baguette. That heated through topped with bolognaise and mozzarella is amazing.

When I was a teenager in 1970s a cool diner opened in our town that served chilli (very exotic in those days) with Ritz crackers. I still dream about it. Chilli and crackers is so good, so bolognese and crackers makes perfect sense.

Imma go get a big block of best butter to atone for my many many spreading sins.

(My dad used to call any butter 'Best Butter' and would see it as a treat instead of the usual 80s/90s brands of margarine.. 🤣)
