Films you wished had a sequel

One of my favourite films is cabin in the woods. It’s just brilliant to watch. However, I feel there could have been many spin offs on more successful sacrifices. It could have been a whole franchise

I hardly ever find sequels as good as the first one, and almost never enjoy remakes more than (or even as much as) the original.

There is a book! I just googled it, and it turns out this book ('Scarlett', by Alexandra Ripley) was turned into a miniseries starring Timothy Dalton and Joanne Whalley-Kilmer.

I might give it a whirl.

Not a classic but there was a rom com called something borrowed. It literally said to be continued at the end but no film was ever made. (There is a follow up book)

Bugger!Sad

The book was OKish - I think. It's decades years since I read it, I usually remember if a book was awful.
