Tutor cancelled double standards

I have a tutor from lead Scotland and they explained to me that if I cancel within 24 hours 3 times for whatever reason I will be closed to the service. I am disabled and I have had to have meetings with them whilst feeling ill and have double booked due to brain fog and had to cancel another meeting that I would have prioritised but twice now they have cancelled with a few hours notice like on the day of the meeting so the rules don’t seem to apply to them?

The difference is that if they cancel 3 times, then you won't be booted off the service. They'll only have so much capacity to go around and cancelling with less than 24 hours should be pretty rare on both sides.

I have to make sure I attend those meetings even when I don’t feel up to it but they can cancel at short notice like it isn’t a big deal over anything

I've always thought this, my work if a customer cancels within a week they get charged full price, but of course if I'm ill on the day, then nothing happens except the meeting can move!

Is it online? If it is, I can't see the problem with attending even if you do feel unwell. If you double book things often, maybe think about a different diary/calendar system. Make sure you check ahead so if you do need to cancel you can give 24 hours notice.
It's annoying but that's how the world works .. it's the same with our dentist ( and yes, private as no NHS availability around here) even if you are ill, if you don't show up you still get charged, ad they could have given that slot to someone else.
