Insane outgoings

Hi,

I have spent a bit of time today going through our finances. I haven't done it for a while but like to try and keep on top of things. I calculated our essential outgoings today and I am shocked.....

When I add up all of our essential outgoings/bills it comes to £3600 per month!!

This seems insane. Does anyone else have outgoings like this?

Yes ours is around that, the mortgage hike is mostly responsible.

We have absolutely no luxuries now. It’s not much fun.

Yes, a touch higher. We have nursery fees though which are a big chunk of it.

Admittedly we don't need to have cars on finance but they aren't fancy cars - we just couldn't afford to buy them outright.

Yes and the rest. Our childcare bill is £1500 a month just for 3 days. It's soul destroying

It's tight for us every single month. If we treat ourselves to a meal out etc, we suffer for it as payday draws near
