Why am I shivering??

Im really shivery. As I literally shake. Don't otherwise feel. I'll but can't get warm. Tried blankets on the sofa and heating on.

Now in bed with 2 duvets and an hoodie and a hot water bottle on me. Not shivering as much but occasional shiver still and hands feel freezing if I get my phone out.

I'm exhausted but I often am (me/cfs and probable peri)

But why shivery? I had Things To Do this evening!!

I've done a covid test. Not that. Taken some lemsip.

You have a cold or even flu. Your body gets cold and hot as it tries to fight the infection. Drink fluids and take paracetamol.

Have you not got a thermometer? The only times I’ve felt as cold as you’re describing I’ve had a raging temperature. But also felt pretty poorly. Strange to be this shivery but feel fine. Have you got anyone to fetch you a hot drink?

I feel completeky wiped tbh but life's quite stressful at the moment so thought it was that.

I'm not snotty/snore throat. I've got lots on in person at work this week and need to be more alive!

Yes temp says 36. 4 on my head currently and just below 36 on my chest. Mines often a bit low, anyway but it's within normal bounds.

Yes I know it's cold but heatings on and kids and husband aren't hiding in bed shivering!

Hmm now I'm hot and want everything off me.

I think you are getting ill.

I was like that on Thursday night, felt "cold to the bone" and very shivery. Temp was a little raised at 37.7.
I've been a bit out of sorts ever since, cough etc. not Covid as had a rummage and found a test!
