Completely confused by ovulation tests v signs of ovulation ?!

I’ve read that EWCM means you are ovulating but I had a positive ovulation test on Friday am but still have EWCM today ? (Which started on Thursday)

Has ovulation probably occurred already or does the EWCM still being present mean that it hasn’t yet ? I’m really confused by it all

I didn't find ewcm reliable at all - it seemed way more dependant on whether I was hydrated than whether I was ovulating. Some people find it a really reliable sign, but I'm not one of them. LH peaks though are much more helpful in my experience. If you've had a peak then yes, you've ovulated unless your cycle has gone a bit wonky.

I also get confused about this but positive in some testsmean you will ovulate in next 24/48 hrs. So then the 2 would align? Others will be more knowledgeable though!
