How planned are your weekends?

For context, we have a 3 y/o DS and I generally have a good think through the week about what we're going to do at the weekend.

On Friday, I was struggling for ideas so asked DP what he thought. He told me there was no need to plan so much and to just go with the flow. Recognising that maybe I did just need to chill out a bit, I thought I'd go with this. I feel really anxious today and that this indecisiveness has made me feel a bit like we haven't really done much at all. I haven't even been able to really rest because I worry about wasting this precious time.

It was fine when it was just me and DP but I feel a lot better having a plan when it's the 3 of us. Does anyone else feel this way? Or do most get on just fine going with the flow?

The best memories I have of when my kids where that young is just playing at home or going to the local playground at weekends. Weekends don't need to be filled with stuff.
