Another day another virus

Just feeling a bit despondent. I am struggling with long covid and the constant barrage of viruses brought home from school. How do others with long covid and young kids handle it? It feels like an uphill struggle clinging onto what little baseline I have left, whilst knowing the next covid infection, (likely from school as the others have been) will wipe even more from my kids lives and mine ad finitum, until there's nothing left. Special handhold to the hundreds of thousands of parents seeing their kids battling long covid.

The only time I don't seem to have a further drop in health is after the first week of school holidays, then back to school for wallop wallop wallop of perpetual bugs.

Feel for you @SickOfSchoolBugs .
I had long Covid 2020/21, didn’t completely recover until 23. Am now on cardiac meds for POTs but was doing well. Going swimming x 3 a week plus 3 mile walk with the dog most days. Caught something off DS 2 last week of the summer hols (prob Covid as he lost sense of smell/taste but neg for Covid). Got a bloody awful chest infection which has exacerbated my prev well controlled asthma, finished antibiotics but still coughing up and still wheezy. Just booked a weekend away in London in Dec too. So yes infuriating !
