Would you do IVF baby#3?

We’re ttc #3, but have made the decision if it doesn’t happen naturally for us we wouldn’t go down the assisted route.

if it came to it would you do ivf for a chance for the third or even 4th child if it wasn’t happening naturally?

Nope. 2 is enough.

Have 4,tried for 5th but never happened, we did discuss interventions but decided against it

We did but needed ivf for all 3 children anyway due to medical reasons.

Personally I wouldn't but everyone is different and if it's something that is really important to you then no one else can or should influence your decision.

I wouldn’t personally. We did IVF before falling naturally with both our boys and honestly, it’s tough. It’s tough physically but also psychologically. Wish you luck whatever you choose is right for you.

Did you do 3 separate rounds? Or were you able to do FET?

i think if I’d had Ivf before and had embryos I’d do it no questions but as things stand I don’t think I can justify anything more acupuncture

Would definitely of tried IvF for DC1, maybe DC2 but no more.

No. Before we started ttcing dd (dc1) we agreed that we were going the “scorched earth” process for having a child. That we would do whatever it took.

Before ttcing ds (dc2) we agreed that we were not adopting and we’re not doing IVF. (We had had friends go through both processes.) That either he would be conceived by a few bouncy cuddles or he wasn’t meant to be. He turned up before we had to test that but I don’t think I would have been swayed,

We didn’t try for a third child but if we had then I guess it would have been similar to ds.

Having said that - I am so glad that ds is here now and he is so right for our family. We would have missed out so much from our “ not willing to take extreme measures” position if we hadn’t had him.
