Will her eyes turn brown?

Picture attached. One is half and half. The other is dark blue

She's 3.5. I just wondered what the chances are of them turning brown (gorgeous colour!) as they seem very mismatched but they do stand out and are very cool

Just a lighthearted post really, genetics are fascinating

I would have thought 3.5 is quite late for them to change colour but I could be wrong.

No, not at 3.5, changes in eye colour usually happen before the 12 month mark. There might be small fluctuations after that but nothing drastic. Those are the eyes she's got, they're lovely!

Gorgeous eyes. Like others, I think they'll stay as they are. My youngest went from blue to brown/hazel but it was long done by 3.

She is definitely already one of those boring people who like to tell people they have different 2 different eyes - Like vegans

She stood up at pre school in her new setting and said 'I'm G, I have 2 different eyes'

I haven't actually mentioned it other than in passing but she seems to know and like pointing it out
