The crappy Shark has died - Boring thread about what vacuum next!

Arguably the worst vacuum I've ever had has finally died 🎉

I don't want to make another mistake like that and procrastinating over what to buy.

I think I want an upright and was thinking Sebo Felix and then I see Miele getting recommended a lot too but not sure about cylinder as always found my mums harder work than the upright. Think I am going bagged this time.

Mostly carpet and carpeted stairs too.

Any experience of those two or other recommendations?

(My Friday nights used to be sooooo much more interesting! 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Pollen/dust allergies here so need bagged hoovers. I've got an ancient Miele cat and dog which is still going strong, but it's a pain to carry up our tiny twisty stairs so I've just got a Henry Quick for upstairs and it seems very good so far, incredibly well made.

Shark is awful. We have a Henry

Didn’t know Henry did cordless ones. Just looked it up. Cheaper than the Dyson one we’ve just bought as well. Why couldn’t this thread come up last week…?

You lot are not helping 🤦🏻‍♀️. Instead of finally making a decision on sebo or Miele I’ve added a Henry to the list……

@Blanketpolicy honestly the one I sent you a photo of , is great it's cheapest anything and if you hate it easy to return.
I've had Miele and loved, was given a Dyson didn't ever make it in to the house hate them and a shark. A friend bought that vacuum and it's brilliant!

We've just bought a Sebo and I really like it. I can't use a cylinder vacuum because I get a bad back.

That is what is worrying me a bit about cylinder, especially as I am taller and when I used my mums in the past I felt I was bending over and pressing down the whole time.

Think I have made my mind up it will be upright and bagged.

which Sebo did you get and did you buy on Sebo website? How is it on stairs?

I made my mind up and ordered the Sebo Felix Pet, fingers crossed it's a good one - it simply can't be any worse than the 🦈!
