Anyone else have Email trouble ?

Hi since Tuesday I haven’t been able to send and receive any emails. I’ve just told my friend and she can’t either. She’s with Hotmail and I’m with msn. I’ve now asked another friend and she says that hers has changed to a different language so she can’t access hers. Has anyone else got a problem with theirs and if so how can we fix it? Tia

My Hotmail is working fine.

No. And there’s no reported issues with Hotmail. If it was a wide scale problem, it’d have been fairly widely reported on by now.

Then you both need to go back to basics and run an antivirus

Yes with both hotmail and outlook. I deleted both and reinstalled (just have to remember your password🤪) and now working fine.

Thanks @Freeme31 I’ve got no idea what my password is. I set it up over 20 years ago! Oh it’s so frustrating

Hotmail I was advised would only work via the app not other email applications. Had an email about it perhaps a month ago.

I think the deadline was this week sometime.

Do you not have anti virus software on your device? You should just be able to click on it to run a scan.

I've not been able to access emails on my mail app on iPhone since Tuesday

No emails for me today either with Hotmail…

Thanks for your replies. @MooseBeTimeForSnow i didn’t get an email. @bebopalula111 yes it’s been since Tuesday. I’ve found a recovery page but it’s asking for details from 20 odd years ago and I can’t remember them. Argh.

@Ladybird69 I've ended up downloading another email app but it's not ideal as not showing all my emails

Can't do anything on the app in my phone but can use hotmail on safari .
You will need a password ?
It's rubbish.
