Socail worker incorrect report

To start off with, I have no need to get one over on socail care and no reason to discredit them. We are involved with children with disabilities socail care which I initiated and could ask them to discharge us at any point.

One of my sons socail workers has left. I was talking to the team about past meetings and there's a record of a meeting that never happened and I can prove that without doubt. I don't know why they would record this meeting. Either it's another child's meeting on our file, or it's just made it.

Would you complain? I'm of the mind that I'm interested in what's in my child's best interests and this is about their failings but it doesn't directly effect us.

I have in the past complained about not getting meeting notes, but dispite no evidence of them sharing notes ( no emails to me in that time period etc) I still get no notes and it was a waste of my energy. I'm not sure about this

I would always suggest you get DC’s file corrected.

Absolutely complain. The social worker should absolute not be recording meetings that did not happen and certainly another child's information should not be on your sons file. Have you see a copy? You obviously would think know if it was your information or not?

Social workers will have to have their child in need meetings in a certain time frame - could it be that they have used some conversation has with you and other professionals and turned that in to a 'meeting' due to not being able to get together in time?

They records say I was present at this meeting. I wasn't. I only met thus SW once face to face. It's who said was there, its impossible.

I was asking the team when the last CIN was and that's when I was told about this meeting. They don't know if it was a CIN. The CINs are just chats with me, they have never contacted school in well over a year ( school confirm this). There's never notes taken, I never get notes. Then when stuff goes wrong, there no record of anything discuses.

I need to see these meeting notes. I can not work out the benefit of making it up. They need to fabricate a whole lot more to meet there legal bare minimum on CIN meetings
