I've just got some of these in a size 6.5. I normally take a size 6 wide in other shoes so the additional half a size is to accommodate this. But it's really difficult to get them on, although the ankle tab helps, and virtually impossible to get them off - I nearly sprain my wrist every time! I don't think they need breaking in as such as I got the one's in Virginia leather so they're very soft, but will the ankle - either the leather or the elastic - stretch in time or should I go up to size 7.
