Amazon subscribe and save now rubbish

I've used subscribe and save for years. Lots of big savings. But it's just not worth bothering with now.

Reductions are minimal or in some instances there's no reduction at all.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I’ve noticed the price creep up and an increase in the items which are no longer avaliable for s and s but I can order them direct from Amazon.

Never found Amazon to be especially good value, just convenient.

I've definitely noticed it's more unreliable now.
So many out of stock items or delayed items the last few months.
My biggest bug bear is that payment is always taken on time, but then the item doesn't despatch that day and I have to chase it up!

Hmm i use it but do price check regularly sometimes prices do creep up as you say. Things I've found stay well priced:-
Rimmel make up
Sensodyne toothpaste
Oraldene mouthwash (consistently cheaper than Home Bargains for the last few months)
Bull Dog men's toiletries

Stuff I've cancelled due to price:-
VO5 hair clay
Particular brands of pet food
Various vitamins and supplements
Jojoba oil

I use a face wash that varies month to month, can be anything from £11-20 (for 1 litre it's not a posh one!) but even at £20 it's cheap.

I only cancel stuff if I think they're taking the piss with price, I mainly use it for convenience as a PP said. It means I can do the rest of my shopping just at Aldi and Home Bargains which are next to each other and near my house!
