I've been on 100mg now for over 6 weeks and still feeling anxious and very aware of my breathing, like im consciously doing it. Can anyone relate? Has anyone been similar and then sertraline kicked in?

Are you having a medication review at any point?
6 weeks is still early.

Never worked for me. Just dulled all my emotions both happy and sad ones.
I'm never taking them again

In a few weeks will get a phonecall from GP. Have you any experience on this?

Was a 6wk adjustment and affective time given for this med?
If not call the gp earlier than waiting for the call.

My son's been on sertraline for years (he was 12 when first prescribed). They started at low dose and saw no change. Once raised to the dose they wanted it still took a couple of months to really see change. He's an adult now and has them increased a couple of times. He's on 150mg and is definitely improved but hasn't dulled his emotions or had any negative impact. If they aren't helping at review then maybe they will need to increase dose.
