Silly whats app question

I've googled but have got different answers. Sent a WhatsApp to the wrong person last night by accident . Realised straight away and deleted the message for everyone. They didn't read it as only one tick. Will they get a notification I deleted the message.

It says 'your name deleted a message'

So I have never texted them on whsts app so no chat history. Would that make a difference?

Yes it shows up as a deletion. I'll usually follow up with an 'oops, sent to wrong chat' message and leave it as that. They don't know if it's a gif, something saucy, or a reminder to your partner about cleaning gutters.

Meh, don't sweat it. Blame 'fat fingers' if they ask. Breeze yourself through it! 😂
