Removing cooking smells

I cooked a sauce last week using ginger, garlic, turmeric, onions and curry powder and cleaned everything since. There’s no remnants of the food yet I can still smell a curry smell in my home! I had the fan running and have kept the windows open whilst cooking, and even left the windows open every day since yet I can still smell it.

It’s the first time I have ever cooked curry and I probably won’t again due to this. Any advice on how to remove the smell completely?

Wipe the kitchen cupboards down, not frenziedly, just a quick swish. Finish above the stove.

A bowl of cheap vinegar over night is an old trick to remove lingering smells
