Tinned food

How much do you eat?

My meals always seem to consist of tinned pulses and tinned tomatoes. I try to buy citric acid and salt free. I add in fresh veg, herbs and spices. But I eat a lot of them eg bean chilli, chickpea curry, butter bean stew, bean salad, hummous, black bean tacos. Wondering how terrible this is.

it's fine.

Why would you think it's terrible?

People will have very different views on this. Honestly, I wouldn’t worry. For context I make my own bread and don’t allow flavoured yoghurts (except the one UPF free brand) but do buy a packet of shop made biscuits a week and we occassionally go to Costa.

I think that's fine, the contents are really healthy. I don't know the full health implications of the modern canning process (the tins that are coated inside) but you could always get a slow cooker for the pulses and buy dried and alternate in some frozen veg, maybe spinach, for variety?
