What's with all the loooong thread titles today. More or less outlining the entire question in the title?

Whilst I don't like the ridiculously short titles e.g. "To think?". My active list today is full of absurdly long titles which read more like an OP.

Just me?

Some threads have long titles! Maybe it's to try and put any trolls off or something like that ?

Rather have a long title than "AIBU to....."

The worst is those that give no clue as to what they're about eg AIBU to think this isn't normal

My personal bugbear are the ones that start with ‘Just that really’, and then go on to write an entire essay. No apparently it wasn’t just that really 😆

The problem is, if you don't write enough you get people saying ' we can't make a diagnosis based on this info, we need more '!

Yes they do - especially some of the long-running ones. I just happened to notice this morning that there are loads today.

Of course everyone's "active" will look different depending on what topics/individual threads they have hidden.

@IDontHateRainbows Yes, those sorts of titles are deeply irritating, but today just seems to have gone from one extreme to the other.

I started to wonder if it was national "write the longest thread title" day. :-)

I agree though and some of them don't make sense. I keep hiding them because reading the titles give me a headache trying to decipher what they're saying.

I also agree re the short titles. I'm not sure which is worse of the two.

To be fair your title isn't exactly short and also gives your issue.
