I think this should be added in with that range of menopause wear. Its for when you can't decide whether you are hot or cold.

Also, balances thing out to an average temperature.

It could be useful for those season-change times... you know, when you're too hot in a jacket, but too cold in just a bra. Hence, a bracket.

It reminds me of those comedy turns where someone is dressed in one set of clothes on the right side and another set on the left. They then turn sideways to the audience and turn back and forth having a conversation with themselves.
