Venture Studios

Sorry can't think what topic to put this under! Wondered if anyone could share their experience of Venture Studios?
I bought a family photography session on offer for £15 at a local fete as I'd love to get a nice photo of all of us together.

The customer service and photos were good, but I ended up not buying any prints as it just felt so expensive. I felt disappointed not to own any of the lovely photos they took, and a bit guilty to the staff as I felt like I had wasted everyone's time! The best they offered me was 2 10" by 10" framed photos and the high resolution photos for £800! Am I wildly out of touch to think that's very expensive?

Extremely expensive. Their business model is to lure you in with special or free offers then charge over the odds for the photos.

Go and speak to a local photographer and get a quote for some family photos taken there instead.

I fell for it! Thanks for confirming it's not just me who thinks it's overpriced!

Stupidly expensive and extremely aggressive sales tactics.
