Have you ever made big plans - and not followed through? Do you regret it?

I am in discussions about a big move - work/job/money, all bigger. And secretly, I am beginning to think I might not do it. It’s very exciting but ultimately I think I might just stay where I am.

Please come and tell me about your plans left unfulfilled! I am really interested in what others have done. Should I run away to the circus after all?

No, but there was someone I used to see around socially who had struggled finding a decent job/boyfriend and was planning on moving country, which she was certain would fix that (I'm not certain how, exactly; good vibes, I think). She became quite fixated on it and was often updating us on her recon visits there, flats, jobs etc. Then she disappeared and I assumed she'd gone off to her new life.

However, I bumped into her a while back, and it turns out she had been persuaded by family to stay, was still in approximately the same situation and was quite bitter about it.

I don't know how it would have worked out if she had gone, but I wish for her that she had tried.

Oh no @Robotnik that’s sad about the bitterness.
