Jet2 combining luggage

I’m going on holiday with my family and really looking forward to spreading my suitcase weight across other peoples bags for once Grin but as a family of 4 I’m thinking we will take 3 suitcases. Will our allowances on jet 2 allow us to do that?

You may have a case for each fare paying member.

Check your booking to see how many bags you have booked

Generally most airlines have a weight allowance of 23kg - anything over that could carry a supplement even if the other cases are under the weight limit. I'd say it's better to each take a case instead of risking having to pay extra Smile

I definitely do ticket wise. Not sure we have 4 suitcases!

think I’ll go with @Madremia6 and diving luggage between 4 suitcases, I’ll dig one out of somewhere or borrow one.

thanks.

You can probably combine allowances but there will be a maximum weight per individual case which can differ by airline

Bigearringsbigsmile · 24/09/2024 13:23

We flew with jet2 last month. The lady at the desk said we could pool luggage but no case could weigh more than 32kg.

Imnotarestaurant · 24/09/2024 13:23

Yes we did that with Jet2 this summer (3 suitcases for 4 of us). Everyone is allowed 23kg, but there is a weight limit for each case (I think it’s 32kg but check the website) so you could have 3 suitcases each weighing 30kg and be within your limit.

dementedpixie · 24/09/2024 13:24

Jet2. seems to say the maximum weight for a single case is 32kg so you must be able to combine allowances
