People's opinions on Agoda?

Is Agoda a legit company, would you book with them for a hotel for a few nights? I have flights already booked separately. Lots of bad reviews for Agoda online.
Have you used them and was it ok?

I've used them lots of times, and have never had any problems with them. Got some bookings with them for an upcoming holiday next month too.

They were really helpful a few years back when we had a non-refundable hotel booked and my husband was given an appointment for a hospital procedure. Contacted the hotel on our behalf who agreed to move the booking.
