Best way to lose chin fat?

user242526 · 23/09/2024 10:04

Hello,

9M postpartum and I've got a triple chin situation going on.

I'm trying intermittent fasting to help me lose the weight (my main areas of concern are my stomach and my chin)

Is there anything I can do to reduce the fat on my chin?

Considering aesthetic procedures (not sure if that's the correct term) too at this point!

Thanks

Might not work for everyone but I had already exhausted all other avenues, I had fat dissolving injections in my double chin. Takes up to a month to work and you have to massage the area twice a day and drink lots of water. I noticed results after 2 weeks and after a month the results were insane! Much much happier and you can actually see my jawline now!

@scrimblescramble thanks for the response. How much did they cost if you don't mind me asking? How long do the results last? Was there a dramatic difference? Do you have to keep getting the treatment done?

I think it cost around £100. There was definitely a dramatic difference to the point where I didn't need any further treatments, however you can get more than 1 session to get the look you're happy with. I had mine done nearly 4 months ago now and results are still showing.

@scrimblescramble great thank you. Was it painful? Do you know if the results are permanent?

And do you know what product was used @scrimblescramble Aqualyx or Lemon Bottle? Or another?

The procedure itself wasn't painful, just felt like a few scratches. The first week my chin/neck area was quite tender but going in to week 2 the pain subsided and that's when I started to notice a difference. I'm almost certain it was Lemon bottle but unfortunately I can't say whether the results are permanent however I would think so as by massaging, you are dissolving the fat and pushing it towards you lymph nodes to get rid of it.

@scrimblescramble do you know what the injections are called or what the ingredient is? Thanks ☺️

The fat dissolving injections have very hit or miss results. There's not enough evidence. I had them and they didn't work at all after 2 goes!

I had chin lipo. Painless, quick recovery and I have a very snatched jaw and chin now. I've always been petite but for some reason held fat and water under my chin. It's changed my life! Cost about 3k or just under.
