Deodorant vs antiperspirant for a child?

After some advice/recommendations for deodorant/antiperspirant for my 10 year old daughter.

She's in need of something - which one is better for a child?

I'm worried about picking something which would be too harsh for her skin, and packed full of chemicals.

Are natural deodorants (wild, etc) the way to go?

My 10 year old DD uses salt of the earth roll on. It works really well for her, she has the unscented one but they do a range of scented ones too.

I think everyone at some point tries natural deodorants. They don't work!

DD's used Dove which is pretty mild. Always use the stick as it lasts longer, and also more effective as it sticks to your skin rather than spraying the room.

I know the natural ones don't really work, but I would probably start with one of those and step it up when she needs something more effective.

@aperolspritzbasicbitch I totally disagree that natural deodorant's don't work. Yes you do have to use them slightly different but they do work and from what i've read about some of the chemicals you find in the standard stuff we'd never go back to something like Dove. Especially for our kids.

Anyway... Our whole family uses Rubb deodorant. They have a kids friendly version. Refillable cases. No baking soda or alcohol or anything. Our kids love it. I can't recommend it enough.
