Need an amazing hotel/spa for Xmas eve as it's the first year without the kids

Ex husband and I always used to continue to Xmas together for the kids, which worked well for a few years. However, now we both have different partners, we have started alternating Xmas. This year is my year without them. They go from 10am Xmas eve until 4pm Xmas day and I'm dreading it. I want to book an incredibly decadent overnight on Xmas eve to take my mind off it but don't want to travel too far so I can enjoy it. We live in Warwickshire so happy to travel about an hour ish and bonus points if it has an outdoor hot tub.

Anyone have any recommendations? Price is flexible but it needs to be something special

I think you’ll struggle for one night, most places have a Xmas package 24-27 Dec.

Agreed with this. Highly unlikely even for an airbnb too.

Could you recreate the same vibe at home. Hire a hot tub, get a lovely bottle of champagne?

lots of sympathy- this Xmas will be my second without my kids. I am lucky in that my partner doesn’t have kids so I just join him / his family on my no kids years.
