How many remakes does one film need?

We have Snow White coming out AGAIN next year. There has already been at least 5 different films, and one tv program. Honestly Ginnifer Goodwin did the best Snow White in Once Upon A Time.

Now I like Rachel Ziegler but she is not coming across as a good Snow White. She has a
massive head on her body, and many people have pointed out that her hair looks like Lord Farrquads (shrek).

But seriously how many remakes does one film need?

Classic fairytales will always be desirable for filmmakers to doing reimaginings and retellings - see also Cinderella. I don't take issue with another Snow White movie vaguely.

I do question why Disney has zero apparent creative output and are just doing sequels and remake after remake (becoming almost frame for frame identical to the original animations, but with none of the joy, spectacle and soul).

Jesus wept, I agree it doesn’t sound worth all the hassle. No one I know likes the Snow White film/character/songs etc.

Oh the uproar when she was first announced to be Snow White, cos she wasn’t white. Ok so the story goes skin as white as snow, but bloody hell, you would have thought she had shot a puppy
